Why buy a Trucut computerised mount cutter? Trucut computerised mount cutters have been installed since the beginning of 1995. In that time we estimate that Trucut machines have cut in excess of 100 million mounts. This is testament not only to the robustness and quality of the design and manufacture of our machines, but also to the success of our users who go from strength to strength, judging by the value of the repeat orders we are privileged to receive. But what is it specifically that makes a Trucut machine such an asset? The following are some of the main features of Trucut machines:-
· Well-established and proven technology.
* By UNLIMITED we mean that there is no limit on the number of mounts that can be cut
during the warranty period. That is how confident we are about the quality of our machines.
But UNLIMITED does not include consumables or the result of any misuse.
Trucut machines were originally developed by the same team that was responsible for the
well-respected Trucut large format range of glass cutting machines. In early 1995 the first
mount cutter model, the Alpha, was launched and several installations were completed almost
simultaneously in the UK and Italy. By the end of that year several had been installed in the
USA and we have continued to prosper and expand to the present day. Broadly speaking, the
original design and development team is intact.
From the very start we decided to remain focussed on the picture and photographic
industries, so that we didn't dilute our efforts by making cutting machines suitable for many
industries. Consequently our machines are optimized
for our industry and are not over-sized or over-engineered for the work required. Every
pound or dollar you pay for the machine is there to give you exactly what you need.
Over time it our software has
become even more comprehensive and developed, but we have never lost sight of the need to
provide simple to use and highly productive software. Our software has achieved this and
will continue to do so as we add to the functionality.
We provide excellent support and servicing but, to be honest, that is not difficult to do, as
Trucut machines are designed and built to a standard which minimises the problems users
and ourselves experience. Unlike some companies we do not charge high labour rates, high
part prices nor could we create a profitable business solely out of the servicing we
carry out world-wide. Our machines are that good; and that is why we do not sell service
contracts, we couldn't make them pay and, more importantly, you couldn't get good value for
money.
We don't believe in high-cost consumables. Our prices have always been the most reasonable on
the market and will remain that way.
